Coconut Growing Conditions

Coconut is a tropical plant that prefers a high temperature and humid growing environment. It also needs sufficient sunlight when being maintained so that it can grow and develop well. When planting, marine alluvial soil is generally used.

Coconut growing temperature

The most suitable temperature for coconut growth and development is 26-28 degrees. The monthly average minimum temperature cannot be lower than 20 degrees, and the daily temperature difference does not exceed 5-7 degrees. Under such temperature conditions, the plants will grow luxuriantly and the tree shape will be larger.

As the stems and leaves of the plant become thicker and thicker, it will slowly break away from the coconut shell. When the trunk grows to 20-30 meters high, it will bear fruit the next year.

Coconut Planting Time and Method

Coconuts are generally planted during the rainy season, and can be planted in spring and autumn. When planting, be sure to use suitable soil. It is recommended to use marine alluvial soil, so that it will grow faster. During the maintenance period, water it in time and provide sufficient light.
