How to grow Begonia

Begonia belongs to the Rosaceae family. It is generally propagated by sowing, division and grafting, and it has strong adaptability.

2. Soil

The rhizomes of crabapples are tender and fragile, so when planting them, loose, fertile, and well-drained soil is generally used.

3. Lighting

When caring for crabapples, they need plenty of sunlight so that they can grow well.

4. Watering

In spring, crabapples need to be watered every 3-5 days. In summer, it is best to water them once a day. In autumn and winter, the number of watering can be gradually reduced.

5. Fertilization

When planting crabapples, sufficient base fertilizer needs to be applied. After flowering every year, timely fertilization is required. Some organic fertilizer can be applied for absorption.

6. Pruning

The crabapple blossoms need to be pruned when they sprout in spring, and some dead branches and rotten leaves need to be cut off to provide them with a good ventilation environment. They also need to be pruned again after the leaves fall to allow them to have sufficient nutrients for growth.

Begonia cultivation precautions

When growing crabapples, you need to pay attention to the fact that they must have sufficient sunlight at normal times so that they can grow well. They also need a good ventilation environment to avoid the occurrence of certain diseases and pests, and they must also be fertilized in moderation.
