What are the cultivation methods and precautions for tea flowers?

Tea flower cultivation method

Tea flower belongs to the Apocynaceae family. It is generally propagated by sowing, cuttings and division. When planting, sandy loam with good drainage and loose soil is generally used. It has strong adaptability and requires good ventilation during maintenance, as well as sufficient nutrients and water.

Watering method

When watering tea flowers, you need to do it according to the dryness of the soil. Watering is sufficient when the soil is relatively dry. Avoid water accumulation, otherwise it will lead to poor growth.

Fertilization method

When planting tea flowers, sufficient base fertilizer needs to be applied. When the seedling height reaches 10 cm, top dressing needs to be done. The second top dressing should be done in June and July, and watering should be carried out. Fertilization needs to be stopped in July.

Pruning methods

Tea flowers need to be properly pruned during maintenance, and some sick and weak branches and overgrown branches need to be cut off. It should be noted that the cut must be smooth and the excess new buds need to be wiped off.
