How to make and use pomegranate flower fertilizer

Pomegranate is suitable for flower fertilizer

The commonly used fertilizer for pomegranate trees is organic fertilizer, which is mostly used as base fertilizer. There is also inorganic fertilizer, which has the advantages of fast fertilizer effect, high fertilizer efficiency and easy absorption. Microbial fertilizer is also commonly used, which can significantly change the physical and chemical properties of orchard soil and change the soil compaction and salinization caused by long-term and large-scale application of chemical fertilizers.

Generally speaking, potassium sulfate compound fertilizer is the most suitable fertilizer for pomegranates, which can supplement phosphorus and potassium elements well and ensure vigorous growth of the plants. Farmyard manure is also more suitable. It is a pure natural fertilizer that can supplement nutrients for pomegranates and make them grow healthily. You can also use special pomegranate fertilizers with balanced nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elements to benefit their growth.

How to make pomegranate flower fertilizer

Pour rice water, leftover beer or leftover yogurt into a large plastic bottle and place it in the sun to ferment. Be careful not to screw the bottle cap too tightly and check it frequently to release the air. It will be fermented in about two weeks and dilute it with water before use.

How to use pomegranate fertilizer

1. When fertilizing the pomegranate, you can dig a deep circular trench around the flowerpot, apply the fertilizer and cover it with soil, or you can dig a small hole 20 cm deep next to the plant, pour the fertilizer in and cover it with soil.

2. If you want to apply foliar fertilizer to the pomegranate, you can also dilute the fertilizer and spray it on the leaves. You can do this when the temperature is moderate and the sunlight is not strong.

Too much fertilizer for pomegranate flowers

If too much fertilizer is used on the pomegranate and the leaves fall off, stop fertilizing immediately and use plenty of water to water the plant to dilute the fertilizer, and then drain the water in time.

Precautions for fertilizing pomegranate

When fertilizing pomegranates, you must pay attention to the amount of fertilizer used in order to prevent fertilizer damage. For example, do not apply too much nitrogen fertilizer, and the occurrence of excessive growth will also lead to reduced yields.
