Agarwood likes a humid environment. Generally, the smell of agarwood will be more obvious in humid and hot conditions. Agarwood planted in the ground generally only needs to be watered once every 3 days, while potted agarwood needs to be watered every day. It is best to keep the soil moist at all times.

Agarwood does not have very high requirements for soil and is more suitable for planting in loose, fertile and deep soil. Usually, agarwood can grow normally in acidic sandy loam, yellow loam or red loam.

Generally, it takes 8-10 years for agarwood trees to slowly develop their scent. Usually, if you want to cultivate good agarwood trees, you need to plant them for more than 10 years. Generally, agarwood trees will bloom in the primary period of March to May, and the fruits will mature in July.
