When to plant basswood mushrooms

Basswood shiitake mushrooms are generally propagated using basswood cultivation methods. The best time is from November to February of the following year. The time to cut down the mushroom trees can be chosen in winter, when the nutrients in the tree are the highest.

Planting time in the north and south: There is not much difference in the planting time of basswood mushrooms in the north and south. Both can be planted in November in winter and can be harvested 7-10 days after the mushroom buds grow.

Greenhouse planting time: Greenhouse cultivation of basswood mushrooms can also be carried out in November, but this planting method requires a large amount of wood, which is not possible in ordinary places.

Basswood mushrooms are widely distributed in my country, and the main producing areas are Fujian, Guangdong, Anhui, Taiwan, Hunan, Hubei, Henan, Sichuan, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Hainan, Guizhou and other provinces.

Zhejiang Basswood Mushroom

Zhejiang is rich in basswood mushrooms, which are mostly sown from November to February and can be mature and sold in July and August. They have the effects of strengthening the spleen and appetite, and resolving phlegm and regulating qi.
