How to grow Fragrant wood in autumn

How to grow Fragrant wood in autumn

1. Breeding conditions

1. Soil: It does not have high requirements for loam, but the drainage must be good.

2. Light: It is shade-tolerant and sunlight-loving, and has strong adaptability, but it should be avoided from direct sunlight. It is usually placed in a place with good sunlight, but it is not a big problem if it is not exposed to the sun.

3. Watering: Usually water once every 3-5 days. Be sure to water thoroughly each time, and keep the loam at the bottom of the pot moist. However, stagnant water will cause poor breathing of the roots, so be sure to choose loam with good drainage.

4. Fertilization: It does not have too many requirements for fertilizer. As long as the loam is nutritious, no fertilizer is needed.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Sowing: It is recommended to do it in autumn. Soak the seeds in warm water for a day before sowing. Germination should be carried out under warm and humid conditions, and then sowing can be done.

2. Cutting: It is recommended to do it in spring. Choose one-year-old strong branches of 12-15 cm. The upper and lower incisions should be at a certain distance from the young shoots. The loam should be well permeable and the success rate is very high.

3. Pest and disease control

1. Aphids can cause plant growth abnormalities, with irregular wrinkles on the back of the leaves, fewer flowers or smaller growth. In severe cases, the plant may die. In this case, it is recommended to spray pesticides or chili water.

2. Red spider mites are a type of pest that reproduces quickly and causes serious harm. When you find them, you can move the potted plants to a small, enclosed space and light a mosquito coil. A small pot will only take one hour, while a large pot will need three hours.
