How to grow Datura in autumn

How to grow Datura in autumn

1. Reduce watering

Usually when the temperature is relatively high in summer, it is necessary to increase the frequency of watering appropriately to prevent it from suffering from water shortage due to excessive evaporation of water in the body. However, after autumn, because the evaporation rate decreases, the frequency of watering should be reduced accordingly to prevent excessive watering and waterlogging.

2. Increase the temperature

Autumn is cold in some places. It does not like an overly cold environment because it will reduce the efficiency of various reactions in its body, causing it to grow very slowly. If the weather is very cold, it may even freeze. Therefore, it is necessary to move it to a room with a room temperature above 5°C in time.

3. Replace the flower soil

You can change the flower soil every 1-2 years to ensure that the soil is fertile enough to meet its growth needs. So if the soil has not been changed for a long time, it is best to change it now. Because the temperature conditions at this time are just right, it is very suitable for the plant to recover after changing the soil.

4. Appropriate amount of light

At the beginning of autumn, the light intensity is high and proper shading is needed to prevent it from being burned. In late autumn, the light is weak, so it is best to keep it in a place with good lighting, such as a windowsill, to prevent it from lack of light.
