Just one branch can be planted in a pot and it will survive. It will produce big and sweet fruits next year!

Let me share it with you today. Many people think that figs are difficult to grow, but that is not the case. Huahua remembers that when she was a child, there was a row of fig trees planted on the street, and she could pick a basket of figs every harvest season.

What Huahua wants to share with you today is not the fig tree, but the fig potted plant. Since it can grow into a tree, why can't it grow into a potted plant? What everyone doesn’t know is that figs are very easy to grow. When planting, you only need a branch and stick it into the soil and it will survive!

We find a fig branch. You can decide whether to buy it from the market or break it off from somewhere else. Choose a suitable flowerpot before planting. Make sure the flowerpot can accommodate the size of the fig. Otherwise, how will it grow?

Prepare some nutritious soil and use some nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can promote the growth of figs and make the grafted fruits grow bigger and faster. If you have experience, you can choose to prepare it yourself, just add some leaf mold or organic fertilizer. Then we can plant the fig cuttings we found into the soil. The weather is just right now. If we take good care of it in the later stage, figs will basically bear fruit in the second year!

Growing figs is actually not as difficult as everyone imagines. As long as you like it, any kind of fruit can be grown. But Huahua feels that the fig trees that she often saw when she was a child can still be seen in her hometown in the countryside, but gradually everyone has moved to the city, and such opportunities are becoming rare!

Planting figs is not just for nostalgic reasons. Many people don’t know that figs are rich in nutrients, such as calcium, iron, sodium and other trace elements that the human body lacks. Figs contain all of them. It’s a fruit that both adults and children like to eat!

If you can’t finish eating all the figs at home, Huahua thinks you can dry them into dried figs for preservation. When I was shopping in the supermarket a few days ago, I found that dried figs were really expensive. Not only are they easy to preserve after being dried, they also have a different flavor!

I wonder if everyone has learned the fig cultivation method shared today? The method is very simple, it all depends on your drive! This is the end of Huahua’s popular science article today. You are welcome to like, forward or comment on this article!
