Podocarpus cultivation methods and precautions

Podocarpus cultivation methods and precautions

1. Environment

The growing environment of Podocarpus requires good ventilation, so it is not suitable to be kept indoors for a long time. Outdoor maintenance is much better than indoor maintenance.

2. Water

Podocarpus's requirement for water is that it is drought-resistant and afraid of waterlogging. During the maintenance process, we only need to keep the potting soil sufficiently moist and avoid root rot caused by waterlogging.

3. Soil

When growing Podocarpus, you need to provide it with loose and fertile acidic loam. If it is an alkaline environment, it will grow poorly.

IV. Precautions

During the cultivation process of Podocarpus, red spider mites and some leaf diseases will appear. During the maintenance process, they must be observed and timely prevented and controlled.
