illumination

Kale is a plant that likes light and is not very shade-tolerant. When growing it, it should be placed in a place with sufficient light, preferably a place with scattered light and good ventilation.

temperature

Kale is a plant that likes cool climates. It can tolerate both cold and heat, so it is relatively easy to grow kale. The suitable temperature for kale growth is between 15℃ and 25℃, and the germination temperature for sowing is between 18℃ and 25℃.

soil

Kale is not very demanding on the soil it needs to grow. It is suitable for growing in loose, fertile and well-drained soil, and can tolerate saline-alkali soil.

Watering

Collared kale has no strict requirements on water, it is not drought-tolerant and is afraid of waterlogging. Keep the soil moist during the growth period of kale, but don't water it too much, otherwise the roots will rot.

Fertilization

Kale has a great demand for fertilizer and needs to be fertilized once or twice a month, mainly with phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Do not use too much nitrogen fertilizer, otherwise it will cause the leaves to grow too long.
