As soon as the green radish touched the plastic bottle, its roots started to sprout and its leaves became bigger than the palm of your hand!

Tie the green radish to a plastic bottle, and the leaves are as big as 10 palms!

Every time you see other people’s green ivy columns are big and dense, are you particularly envious? But when it comes to taking action, you shake your head: That won’t work, I don’t have any PVC pipes at home. Don’t be afraid, let’s try making green ivy columns with plastic bottles today!

Production steps:

1. First, prepare the necessary materials: empty plastic bottles, flower pots, green radish, etc. Cut off the ends of the plastic bottle and poke holes in the bottle.

2. Prepare the soil. Soak the coconut bricks in water, mix them with perlite in a ratio of 2:1, then add a portion of leaf mold and mix well, and it will become nutrient soil with sufficient nutrients!

3. Prepare a larger flowerpot, place the plastic bottle with holes in it in the middle of the flowerpot, then put some pine needles at the bottom of the pot, and fill it with the prepared nutrient soil.

4. Gently insert the prepared green radish seedlings into the soil along the circle of the plastic bottle.

5. Find another empty plastic bottle, cut off the bottom of this bottle, and then turn it upside down into the first plastic bottle.

6. Add pine bark into the plastic bottle. If you want the green radish to grow more vigorously, you can also add some compound fertilizer granules.

7. Prepare palm leaves and wrap the entire plastic bottle with them. About 2 layers are enough, and a green ivy column is ready! Later, as the green ivy vines continue to grow longer and climb upward, you can gradually increase the number of plastic bottles.

8. During the growth process of the green radish, the aerial roots will continue to take root in the palm bamboo and continue to climb upwards. And as the green radish column continues to grow, the stem will become thicker and thicker, and the leaves will become larger and larger!

Add some water to the plastic bottle, and the roots of the green radish will become white!

Many flower lovers want to grow green ivy, but what should they do if they don’t have soil at home? Why not try the hydroponic method? Not only does it take root quickly, but it also doesn’t take up any space. You can put it in places like an office desk and it will grow well!

Steps:

1. Cut the empty plastic bottle in the middle, leaving only the lower half, and discard the upper half.

2. Cut a few branches from the mother plant of green radish, dry the wounds slightly and set aside.

3. Add about 2/3 clean water into a plastic bottle and throw the branches into the plastic bottle, making sure the lower end of the branches is in contact with the water surface.

4. Basically, it only takes about 1 week for the hydroponic green radish to take root!

5. You can also cut a section of the side of the plastic bottle, place the bottle horizontally, and then place the green radish branches horizontally into the plastic bottle, allowing the aerial roots of the green radish branches to contact the water surface, and new roots will soon emerge!

Add some ingredients into the plastic bottle and the green radish will take root quickly!

Autumn is a good time for cuttings. If you miss it now, you will have to wait until next year! And you don’t need any professional flower pots for cuttings, a few plastic bottles will do the job!

Steps:

1. Cut off strong branches from the mother plant of Chlorophytum cochinchinensis and cut them into small sections of 5-7 cm. It is best to have some aerial roots on each branch so that it is easier to take root.

2. Prepare an empty plastic bottle, cut it into two pieces with scissors, and then poke a few small holes at the bottom of the plastic bottle to allow water and air to pass through.

3. Fill the plastic bottle with perlite or loose and breathable nutrient soil, insert the green radish branches that need to be cut directly into the plastic bottle, and then place it in the plastic bottle.

4. It only takes about 7-10 days for the green radish cut into pieces using a plastic bottle to take root!
