1. Soil: Choose fertile and well-drained soil, preferably slightly acidic. You can make your own mix of leaf mold, wood husks and garden soil.

2. Watering: In spring and autumn, keep the soil in the pot moist. Depending on the situation, you can water it every day or every other day. In summer, water it once a day, and in winter, water it about every 2 to 3 days.

3. Fertilization: When just potting or repotting, apply sufficient base fertilizer, and pay attention to topdressing at ordinary times. Apply a thin liquid fertilizer once just after transplanting into the pot. In the subsequent maintenance process, add compound fertilizer every 20 days or so. Between July and August, apply fertilizer mainly composed of phosphorus and potassium.
