The best time to sow magnolia is from March to May and from August to October each year, because the seed germination rate is the highest and the growth is the best during this period.

2. Sowing Method

Select magnolia seeds with full grains, soak the seeds in warm water for two days, choose soil with sufficient light and good drainage for planting. Before sowing, trim the land, weed, fertilize and water the land. The sowing depth should be kept at about 2 cm.

3. Post-management

1. Seedling cultivation: In the 1 to 2 years after the seedlings of white magnolia emerge from the ground after sowing, pay attention to proper shading in the midsummer season and pay attention to cold protection after winter.

2. Transplantation: When transplanting, bring the soil with you and do not damage its root system. Apply base fertilizer in the transplanting place. Appropriate deep planting will be beneficial to its growth.

3. Fertilization: Pay attention to top dressing before and after flowering. Top dressing before flowering is beneficial to store nutrients for the flowering period, while top dressing after flowering is beneficial to replenish the nutrients consumed during the flowering period.
