It’s so sunny at the beginning of autumn, no wonder all the succulent plants are dying!

Chihuahua

Chihuahuas are still in their dormant period. If you rashly take them to a place with strong light, they will easily get sunburned, leaving irreversible sun spots.

Correct maintenance:

1. It is best to keep Chihuahuas in a place with bright but no direct sunlight. When the weather gets cooler, gradually increase the light. Wait until the autumn heat is completely over before keeping them in full sunlight.

2. The weather is still quite hot now, so just give a small amount of water, no need to water thoroughly, and also pay attention to increase ventilation.

Gyokuro

Jade plant is very sensitive to light. If the light is too strong, the leaves will easily turn reddish brown and even leave scars, which will be difficult to recover later and you can only wait for the sunburned leaves to fall off.

Correct maintenance:

1. To prevent the jade plant from growing too tall, you can place it on a south-facing balcony or windowsill to receive direct sunlight before 9 a.m. and after 4 p.m., and place it in a scattered light environment at other times.

2. Jade plant likes water, but it is still in its dormant period. You must control the amount of watering. When the soil is completely dry, give it a little water along the edge of the pot.

Striped Haworthia

The leaves of the Haworthia serrata that have been exposed to the sun will change from bright green to yellow and then yellow-gray, and the leaf tips will dry and turn burnt.

Correct maintenance:

1. Haworthia is not suitable for outdoor cultivation. It is more suitable for growth near windows with bright light. As long as the environment is right, it is very easy to grow in groups.

2. Haworthia is very drought-resistant, but afraid of waterlogging. You can wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering, or spray water around the plant frequently.

Vientiane

Vientiane prefers an environment with softer light. After being exposed to the scorching sun, brown spots will appear on the top of the leaves of Vientiane, and the entire leaf will become dull.

Correct maintenance:

1. Place the Vientiane in a place where it can only receive direct sunlight in the morning and evening. If the environment has sufficient direct sunlight, it must be shaded after 9 or 10 am.

2. Keeping it in a sealed environment will make the leaves of Vientiane thicker, but it is not the best time for keeping it in a sealed environment. The air circulation is poor and the humidity is high, which can easily breed bacteria and cause black rot.

Zibao

Although Zibao likes an environment with plenty of sunlight, the light is still relatively strong now. After being exposed to the sun, black spots will easily appear on Zibao's leaves, and they will become thinner and the color will not be as bright as before.

Correct maintenance:

1. It is best to place the plant in a bright, well-ventilated environment to ensure that the environment is dry, otherwise the leaves of the plant will easily turn black.

2. The growth speed of the baby plants is very slow, but the speed of their emergence is very fast. After the baby plants fill the pot, they can be propagated by division.

Pearl Chlorophytum

Pearl Chlorophytum prefers scattered light. If it is placed outdoors in the sun, its small beads will be easily sunburned, and will be burned even through glass at noon.

Correct maintenance:

1. Flower lovers who have the conditions can place it on an east-facing balcony. If it is a south-facing balcony or a west-facing balcony, it must be shaded at noon and the pearl spider plant should be kept away from the glass windows.

2. As long as the environment is not very dry, try not to spray water on the leaves and stems frequently, otherwise the pearl spider plant will easily rot.
