How to grow green radish in water

How to grow green radish in water

1. Breeding environment

1. Change the water: When growing green radish in water, you need to change the water regularly. When you are just starting to grow it in water, you need to change the water every 2-3 days. After it takes root, you can change the water every 10-15 days. Do not let the water become turbid. In addition, do not add too much water when changing the water. Leave 1/3 of the roots exposed on the surface, and the leaves should not touch the water.

2. Light: Give it appropriate light at ordinary times. Do not let it be exposed to strong sunlight. It is best to let it receive sufficient scattered light. If you grow it indoors, place it in a sunny place, or move it outdoors regularly to get some sun.

3. Temperature: Water culture care requires a growth environment of 20℃. The temperature cannot be too high or too low. Too low a temperature will cause frostbite. Also, don't place it next to direct air conditioning or heating.

4. Nutrient solution: When growing green radish in water, you need to add nutrient solution to it regularly, usually while changing the water, adding about 2-3 drops at a time. Green algae will appear in the container after you start applying the nutrient solution, so it is necessary to clean it promptly.

2. Precautions

When growing green radish in water, you need to pay attention to the root system of the plant. Its roots will grow very fast in water. If the roots grow relatively long, you need to shorten them appropriately. In addition, the roots are prone to rot in water. When rotten roots are found, the roots need to be cleaned and the rotten parts cut off. Potassium permanganate can be used for disinfection.
