There is also an interesting folk story that says that in ancient times, there was a wealthy man who suffered from a stranguria. He could not urinate and his stomach was very swollen, which made him very uncomfortable. Every time he asked the doctor to prescribe medicine, he would vomit it out after taking it. His family had already started preparing for his funeral. By chance, a quack doctor holding a rattle passed by, and his family quickly invited him in to treat the man. After the diagnosis, the doctor asked someone to get a washed onion and insert it into the man's urethra to help him excrete urine. He also prescribed some medicine. The man was so grateful that he rewarded the doctor handsomely.
