How to keep the leaves of the peace tree green

How to keep the leaves of the peace tree green

1. Suitable temperature

If you want the leaves of the peace lily to be greener, you need to provide it with a growing environment of 20-30℃. If the temperature is too low, the plants will be frozen. Whether it is potted or large-scale planting, the temperature must be controlled above 5℃ in winter to make the leaves greener.

2. Reasonable lighting

The peace lily likes sunlight and should be given enough sunlight, but it should not be exposed to excessive sunlight. If you grow it outdoors in the summer, you must provide shade to prevent the leaves from being burned by strong sunlight. In winter, it can receive direct sunlight without blocking.

3. Proper watering

To make the leaves of the peace lily greener, you need to provide it with a moist growing environment and ensure that the soil in the pot is moist enough. Water it according to the dryness of the soil before watering. You can spray more water when the weather is dry. In winter, you should control the amount of watering. If there is water accumulation in the potting soil, drain it in time to avoid yellowing of the leaves.

4. Scientific fertilization

Giving it proper fertilization during its growth period can make the leaves greener, and apply a thin layer of cake fertilizer water once a month. After entering autumn, you can apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers twice. It is best to stop fertilizing in winter to avoid burning its roots.
