The difference between double-petaled clematis and rotor clematis

The difference between double-petaled clematis and rotor clematis

1. Differences in leaves

The leaves of double clematis are narrowly ovate to lanceolate, look relatively narrow and not very wide, about 2 to 6 cm long and 1 to 2 cm wide. There are no small hairs on both sides, and the lines on them are not very obvious. The petiole is about 4 cm long, and the petiolules can be clearly seen.

The leaves of the rotor lotus are diamond-shaped, about 3 to 5 cm long and about 2 to 3.5 cm wide. The difference in length and width is not very obvious. The front and back are not very smooth, and there are long yellow hairs on the top and bottom. The petiole is relatively short.

2. Differences in flowers

The flowers of double clematis are purple-red, which is quite bright and very attractive. The pedicels are relatively long, about 6 to 11 cm. There are usually 6 sepals, which are white, obovate or spoon-shaped, 3 cm long and about 1.5 cm wide.

The overall color of the flower of the rotor lotus is blue with purple on the edges. The color looks mysterious, and the corolla is shaped like a high-footed saucer.
