Meat becomes air-dried meat

Reason: The moisture of succulents is generally stored in their leaves. In summer, the sun is strong and evaporation is fast, so the leaves can easily become dehydrated and dry out. If it is extremely dry, the entire plant may dry up in a short period of time.

Solution: Use a kettle to spray water above the succulents. Be careful not to spray towards the succulents. Just spray it into the air to increase humidity and reduce temperature. It is best to do it in the morning to ensure the air humidity for the day and reduce water evaporation from the leaves of the succulents.

Succulent meat becomes boiled meat

Reason: Too much watering and high temperature will "steam" the succulents, which is actually melting into water. When you see the leaves of the succulents become transparent and fall off when touched, it means they have become boiled meat and you need to save them quickly!

Solution: Pick off the leaves that have melted into water, leaving only the good leaves, place them in a ventilated place and don’t water them! If the situation is serious, you can dig it out and check if the roots are rotten. Cut off the rotten roots, soak them in carbendazim water to disinfect them, then dry the roots in a cool place for 1 day and then replant them.

Meat-filled buns

Reason: The succulent plant is dormant. The most important feature is that it has become swollen. This is a normal phenomenon, which shows that it is very well behaved. Of course, the situation in each region is different. For example, your mountain rose has swollen, but hers has not. You must analyze the specific situation!

Solution: After wrapping the succulents, slowly reduce watering, for example, water them once a week, then once every 10 days, then once every half a month... until the weather is cool and the leaves begin to stretch, then you can slowly resume normal watering. It is best not to pick the dead leaves during the dormant period, as this can serve as a protection.

Moldy Dried Vegetables

Reason: If you water too much in the summer, or if it is humid on rainy days, succulents are prone to root rot and black rot, and the leaves will turn black, grow hair, and rot. If not dealt with in time, the entire plant will soon be infected.

Solution: The appearance of black rot indicates that the roots have rotted. It is best to dig out the succulents, cut off the rotten roots, and soak them in carbendazim for 15 minutes for disinfection. Pour 1/2 clean water into a narrow-mouthed bottle and fix the succulents on the mouth of the bottle. They do not need to touch the water surface and use water vapor to take root, which will increase the success rate.

Meaty pancakes

Reason: The leaves of succulents are turned down and have no bun shape at all. This is also because the succulents have grown too tall, the leaves are widely spaced, and the strong evaporation from the leaf surface causes the drooping. If you don't care, you will get uglier and uglier!

Solution: To control excessive growth, you must first control your hands and water less. If you are worried that the plant will become thirsty, you can spray water into the air to increase the humidity. Another thing is sun exposure. In summer, succulents can be exposed to direct sunlight in the morning and evening, and just shaded at noon.

Meaty BBQ

Reason: When watering, if the water condenses into water droplets on the leaves of succulents, the light will refract and burn the succulents, forming patches of sunburn. You should know that the refraction of sunlight can burn ants to death!

Solution: When watering, try to pour water into the soil and avoid pouring water on the succulents. If spraying is needed, choose a kettle with high spray pressure, which will produce finer mist. When the sun is strong, you must block the light to avoid excessive damage caused by light refraction.

Succulents become small green vegetables

Reason: Many flower lovers shade their succulents in the summer, or move them directly into the house. Due to lack of light, the succulents immediately turn green, just like vegetables.

Solution: If your succulents are always grown outdoors, they will not easily turn into green vegetables. Just remember to provide shade at noon. If your succulents have always been on the balcony or indoors, it is best to expose them to the sun in the morning and evening, water them less, and "control" the color.
