What fertilizer does Clivia need?

What fertilizer does Clivia need?

1. Elements

The main fertilizers it needs are nitrogen, potash and phosphate. You can use nitrogen fertilizer made from soybean cake fertilizer and crops such as soybeans, phosphorus fertilizer made from bone meal, fish scales and poultry manure, and wood ash, straw ash, etc. as potassium fertilizer.

However, it is recommended not to use too much soybeans when fertilizing, because it contains a lot of nitrogen, which can easily cause the plants to grow too tall. Normally, you can also put some slag, river sand and egg shells into the soil, which can increase the trace elements in the soil.

2. Location

Its leaves, roots and flowers all need fertilizer. For leaves, fertilizers such as urea and manure can be used. For the roots, you can use solid fertilizer. Burying the fertilizer in the soil can promote the roots. For flowers, beer can generally be used.

3. Nature

In terms of the nature of fertilizers, it mainly requires liquid fertilizers and solid fertilizers. Liquid fertilizer can be diluted with fish water. Solid fertilizers can be the bean cakes and egg shells mentioned above. Burying them in the soil will produce results.
