The light in summer is very strong, especially at midday. Therefore, it is necessary to provide appropriate shading, otherwise the plants may be easily burned. However, it cannot be in a completely dark environment. Because some varieties need proper light to have bright colors. However, if the plant is already acclimatized and strong, there is no need for shading. However, for safety reasons, you can provide appropriate shading.

2. Soil preparation

There are many ways to prepare soil. It can be prepared with peat soil, perlite, and various particles in a ratio of two to one to one. The particles can be selected from red jade and so on. You can also add some base fertilizer, such as wood ash, bone meal, etc.

3. Watering

The main principle is to "water thoroughly when dry". Also pay attention to the time of watering. However, choose to water at noon, otherwise the temperature and humidity of the soil will rise rapidly, which is extremely detrimental to the growth of the plant. It is best to do it at night, so that the excess water can be almost evaporated after evaporating overnight.

4. Container

It is best to choose a ceramic pot in summer. For one thing, it’s very breathable. Secondly, it has good water permeability, so even if you water it too much, you don’t have to worry about root rot.

5. Ventilation

Be sure to provide adequate ventilation in summer. It can provide fresh air and is beneficial to the growth of plants. In addition, it can also speed up evaporation, so you don’t have to worry about overwatering.
