How to propagate the flower

1. Softwood propagation

For propagation through softwood branches, cut off the softwood branches of the explosive stick flower to a length of about 3-4 cm, cut the lower end into a wedge shape with a tool, use maojuan as the rootstock, then use the softwood branches for cleft grafting, and finally tie it up with a plastic bag and place it in a cool place for cultivation.

2. Cutting propagation

Choose a new branch that is 5-8 cm long, cut off the leaves at the lower end, leaving only 2-3 leaves at the upper end as cuttings, then apply rooting powder on the lower part of the branch and insert it into loose acidic soil. Spray water on it frequently to ensure humidity so that it can sprout new roots faster.

3. Seed propagation

Before sowing, the seeds of the explosive stick flower must be disinfected first, then sow them evenly and compact the soil, then soak the pot in water, do not spray water, place it indoors, and make sure the soil is moist. It will germinate in about 5-6 weeks.
