How to grow Clivia quickly

How to grow Clivia quickly

1. Suitable soil

The soil definitely has an impact on the growth rate of the plant. According to its habits and characteristics, it needs to be acidic. In addition, it is required to have good air permeability, contain a lot of nutrients, and have sufficient water. Specifically, 65% of humus soil, 20% of fine sand, and 15% of ash can be mixed and prepared. The soil should be replaced in time during the growth process.

2. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

In order to promote the growth rate of the plant, you can use compound fertilizers containing various elements or fertilizers that focus on phosphorus and potassium (less nitrogen fertilizer can be used) when the growth is fast. But it should be used in moderation, not too much, and don't choose raw fertilizer.

3. Sufficient water

During the growing period, apply fertilizer about every 20 days. Make sure the soil is neither too dry nor too wet. In combination with watering, you can also use fermented bean cake water, water chestnut water, etc. If the room temperature drops suddenly, stop watering temporarily.

4. Suitable temperature

Being at the most suitable temperature can speed up the growth of plants. The most suitable temperature for Clivia is fifteen to twenty degrees. After the arrow is shot, it is best to control it at around eighteen degrees. The temperature difference between day and night should also be noted, preferably around ten degrees.

5. Scattered Lighting

Light is indispensable, but it is of a neutral nature, so scattered light can meet the requirements. In order to make it grow faster, the time it receives light can be appropriately increased, but it still needs shade when encountering direct strong sunlight.
