How to take care of peace tree

1. Lighting

The peace lily likes sunlight, so if you want to grow it well, you must let it receive sufficient sunlight, but it cannot be exposed to the sun, especially in the hot summer weather. If you don’t take proper shade measures, the leaves will be easily burned. In winter, you can let it receive direct sunlight without shading.

2. Watering

Proper watering can make the peace thyme grow better. It likes moisture, so water it in time. If it is in summer or in a high temperature environment, you can spray some water on the leaves to make the breeding environment more moist. In winter, wait until the soil in the pot is dry before watering. There should be no water accumulation in the pot, which can easily lead to root rot.

3. Pruning

It is best to choose to prune it during its growth season. New branches will grow soon after pruning. Just cut off the excess branches and leaves. The temperature can be controlled at around 20℃ during pruning. The distance from the cut to the bud can be larger during pruning, otherwise it may wither due to water loss. The cut should not be torn, but smoother.

4. Repotting

If you want to change the pot in spring, the pot should be well-ventilated and of suitable size. First, dig up the soil and pull up the peace thyme tree. It is best if there is a soil ball at the roots. Then put it in the new pot, with the roots in contact with the soil over a large area. Fertilize it after about a week.
