How to grow Anthurium quickly

How to grow Anthurium quickly

1. Temperature

This flower is very sensitive to temperature, so this is the first aspect to pay attention to. Generally speaking, it's between fourteen and thirty-five degrees. Specifically, it is 21 to 25 degrees during the day. At night, it is 19 degrees. Pay attention to the temperature difference between day and night and keep it between three and six degrees.

2. Water and fertilizer

As for water, under normal growing conditions, it is sufficient to meet the requirements of keeping the soil dry and wet. If you're not sure when to water, observe the soil surface. If it becomes dry, water it some and water it thoroughly. Then there is fertilizer. During the vigorous growing season, it is enough to use nutrient solution or diluted flower fertilizer once every half a month.

3. Pruning

Proper pruning is essential if you want it to grow quickly. Especially when the petiole at the base is degenerate. The sick, weak and old branches need to be pruned away. In this way, the new and strong branches can grow quickly.

4. Humidity

Specifically, the humidity requirement is around 70%. However, it is not easy to achieve this requirement in ordinary family farming. Therefore, you can use a clean dry towel dipped in water and gently wipe its leaves. Alternatively, you can just spray some water around it regularly. However, if it is the flowering period, be careful not to sprinkle water on the flowers.

5. Lighting

Being too strong or too weak is not good. Adequate astigmatism is best. If you raise it at home, you can place it on the balcony. In summer, when there is too strong light, be sure to shade it. Also, uniformity of light is important. You can rotate its position, which will not only make it grow faster, but also make it grow evenly.
