Common cultivars of Purslane

Portulaca grandiflora

It is about 3 cm long, and the flower diameter can reach 5 cm. It comes in a variety of colors, including red, lavender, orange, white, pink, etc. Some flowers have single petals, some have double petals. As long as the climate is warm, they can bloom all year round. In northern regions, if they are cultivated outdoors, the flowering period is in summer and autumn. If they are planted indoors, pay attention to the temperature and they can also bloom all year round!

Half Lotus

Half-flower, also known as sunflower and pine-leaf peony, is named because it blooms in sunny weather and its flower shape resembles that of a peony. The stems and leaves of the half-branch lotus are fleshy, and the flowers bloom at the top of the branches. There are also two types of flowers: single petal and double petal. Portulaca oleracea

Purslane has many branches and stems, and its leaves are alternate. The leaves are nearly cylindrical and thin at the tips, some of which are needle-like. There is velvet in the axils, dense hairs on the stems, and the flowers are reddish purple.
