How to grow lucky bamboo in water to make it grow well

How to grow lucky bamboo in water to make it grow well

1. Suitable temperature

1. If you want to grow it in water and keep it healthy, the temperature is the most important thing to be careful about. It has very strong vitality and can survive within a wide range of temperature changes. But the most suitable temperature for it is 20 degrees Celsius, and it cannot be lower than zero degrees in severe winter, otherwise it cannot grow safely.

2. During the hot summer, the surrounding temperature cannot be higher than 35 degrees Celsius, otherwise its growth will become very slow. Also, remember to spray some water around it to ensure that it has sufficient humidity.

2. Place in a cool area

If you grow it in water, you can only keep it indoors, but you should make sure to let it see the sun from time to time. There is no need to move it to a bright area to bask in the sun. It can grow well if you put it in a cool area.

3. Be diligent in fertilizing

Many of my friends only add water to this plant when growing it in water, without adding any fertilizer. In this way, it is difficult for it to grow well. Every time you change the water, you can give it a few drops of special liquid fertilizer, so the effect will be better.

4. Precautions for water culture

1. Do not use freshly connected tap water directly, otherwise it will be harmed by chlorine. It must be left for at least one day before use.

2. For water cultivation, you need to choose a bamboo with very complete leaves and very strong growth. Cut an oblique incision on its branch with a sharp tool, and then place it in ten centimeters deep water.

3. The bamboo that has just been grown in water cannot be moved frequently. After it grows roots and the water content decreases, just add water to it. Do not change the water frequently, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow.
