How to make blue snow flower bloom

How to make blue snow flower bloom

1. Environment

We need to give it the environment it likes so that it can grow well. Generally speaking, the soil in which it lives needs to be slightly acidic, and the planting depth cannot exceed above the top of the seedling in the pot. In addition, the temperature we give it needs to be between seventeen and twenty-six degrees. It doesn’t matter if the temperature exceeds that, but it must be below thirty-five degrees. As for winter, we need to keep it in an environment above seven degrees. When the temperature is relatively high, we should open the doors and windows frequently. Ventilation is better for it.

2. Lighting

We need to place it in a sunny place, because more light or higher temperature can promote its branching, but in summer we must be careful not to let it get sunburned.

3. Watering

When it is growing vigorously, we should water it more, and spray some water on its leaves if necessary. In winter, we don't need to water it too much, and each time we water it, we should water it thoroughly.

4. Fertilization

Fertilization is a very important point in promoting its blooming. During its growth period, we need to fertilize once every fifteen days. When it just grows out, the main fertilizer is nitrogen fertilizer. Around May, we add phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. In September, nitrogen fertilizer can no longer be applied, and potassium and phosphorus need to be applied twice more. In addition, a full-element fertilizer should be applied every week; fertilization is not necessary in winter.

5. Repotting

We need to change the pot once in the spring, after which it will grow well. We dug it out of the soil, cut off any rotten roots, and then replanted it with new soil.

6. Pruning

Pruning can help it grow better. We usually combine repotting and pruning, cutting off those that grow too densely or are relatively weak. If it is an old plant that has been growing for a long time, we will prune it more and apply fertilizer afterwards. After flowering, cut off the withered ones. When its seedlings grow larger, we need to pinch them off, which will delay their flowering period.
