How often should azaleas be watered?

1. Don’t water unless the soil is dry

In summer, the temperature is relatively high and water evaporates quickly, so we need to water the plants in the morning and evening. In winter, you don't need too much water, just keep the soil from drying out. If you water it too much, its roots may rot and it will die in the spring.

3. Water quality

There are also requirements for the water used. Generally, we need to use slightly acidic water. Alkaline water is not acceptable, as it may kill it in a short time. And generally we use tap water with a pH value below 7. If the water does not meet the requirements, we can add some vinegar to it. The water still needs to be exposed to the sun, so that the chlorine in it can evaporate and the water temperature can be increased so that the temperature difference between water and soil will not be too large.
