What fertilizer to use for Chlorophytum comosum

What fertilizer to use for Chlorophytum comosum

1. Potassium and phosphorus

Potassium and phosphorus are the two fertilizers that provide food and clothing for its flowers. If we do not apply these two fertilizers and only apply nitrogen fertilizer, it is likely that its branches will grow very fast and the leaves will grow lushly, but the number of flowers will be sad. And there is another disadvantage to having branches grow well, which is that its branches and leaves will exceed the force it can withstand, causing it to break off. Applying potassium and phosphorus can first ensure that the plants will grow stronger, so that the branches will not be broken due to lack of bearing capacity, and it can also promote the production of flowers.

2. Cake fertilizer water

Because it does not require high levels of fertilizer and water, we do not need to apply it too frequently. We only need to add cake fertilizer and water once every half a month, and its growth will be beyond our expectations.

3. Organic fertilizer liquid

In fact, from late spring to early autumn, we can also apply thin liquid fertilizer to it, once every seven to ten days. Of course, we must control the amount of nitrogen fertilizer, because too much will make its flowers brighter in color. Then some fertilizers made from eggshells can also be fermented and diluted and watered once every ten days to half a month. In this way, the color of the flowers and leaves will be better. In addition, we can also use some organic fertilizers that can be purchased on the market, so that it can develop comprehensively and grow better.
