What kind of soil is good for growing Chlorophytum comosum

What kind of soil is good for growing Chlorophytum comosum

1. Sand

The environment it likes has very obvious characteristics, which has a lot to do with its place of origin. Because it first appeared in the tropics, it likes sunlight very much and does not like dry and ventilated environments. It also does not like high temperature and humid environments, so the soil we give it needs to be sandy soil with good drainage, so that nothing bad will happen to it.

2. Leaf mold

In summer, the soil it lives in needs to be loose, so that it is easier for the cuttings to survive. Therefore, it is better to give it a combination of garden soil and soil containing rotten leaves. In winter, the soil it needs must be loose and breathable, so we have to turn the soil over. The surface and the inside will become loose when swapped, and turning it over several times is the best way. We also need to fertilize it on a regular basis so that its soil will be more nutritious and it can grow better.

3. Nutrient soil

In fact, nutrient soil is also a good thing. It is not only suitable for succulents, but also for plants. This kind of soil can make it grow better because the nutrients are sufficient. But we need to know that this does not mean that it does not need nutrients. Watering and fertilizing are more important. If these two operations are not performed, it will only lead to yellow leaves and rotten roots.
