How to use the leaf fairy to graft the euphorbia pulcherrima

How to use the leaf fairy to graft the euphorbia pulcherrima

1. Ye Xian’s choice

We usually choose "Yexian" as the rootstock. When choosing, we should pay attention to those that are thicker and more cold-resistant.

2. Selection of soil for planting

In order to make the grafted plants grow better, we must also pay attention to the soil. Generally speaking, we can choose leaf mold and add some coal slag, egg shells and other materials into it. After mixing evenly, we can sift out the dust. It is best to disinfect it before use.

3. Time selection

The main thing we consider here is temperature. Since the temperature around 25 degrees is more suitable, we usually choose spring and autumn. However, if conditions do not permit, it is also possible in the summer, just don't let the temperature be too high.

4. Grafting

Sharpen the branches of the Euphorbia pulex, then gently insert the knife into the bottom of the Euphorbia pulex, and then insert the branches of the Euphorbia pulex into it. Afterwards, use the leaves of the leaf fairy to clamp the branches on both sides and fix them with clips or other items. If the air is not very dry, then no special attention is required at the interface; if it is very dry, then in order to prevent it from losing water, we can use "wax sealing" to retain water.

5. Notes

(1) Regardless of when you choose to graft, you must pay attention to the condition of the leaves, which should be full and plump. In this way, the chances of success are high and the healing speed is fast.

(2) If the weather is too hot and humid, it is best to place the plant in a ventilated place.
