How to change hyacinth hydroponics to soil cultivation

How to change hyacinth hydroponics to soil cultivation

1. Situations where soil culture can be switched

Under what circumstances can it be converted from hydroponics to soil cultivation?

1. Root rot

Some flower lovers do not cultivate their flowers properly, causing the roots of their flowers to rot. At this time, they can be transferred to soil cultivation.

2. Nutritional deficiencies

When the flowers of a hydroponic plant fade after a year, and there is no time to replenish nutrients, and the nutrients in the bulb are not sufficient, it can be switched to soil cultivation.

3. The wishes of the flower owner

If the flower owner is tired of hydroponic flowers and wants to switch to soil cultivation, of course that is possible.

2. Method of converting to soil culture

1. If you want to switch to soil cultivation, you first need to prepare flower pots and substrate. As for the flower pot, because its root system is relatively developed, we can choose a larger pot. In addition, if we plant many plants, we can choose a larger one. For the substrate, you can choose soft and fertile sandy loam.

2. Disinfect the flower pot and substrate, place a layer of small porcelain tiles at the bottom, and cover with a thin layer of soil for later use.

3. Take it out of the bottle and observe its root system. Use shears to cut away any rotten roots. Be careful not to damage the healthy roots.

4. Then place it carefully in the center of the pot, hold it with one hand to prevent it from tilting around, and use the other hand to fill the pot with substrate. Make sure to fill the bottom completely and don't leave too much space. Don't fill it too full, just cover 2/3 of the height of the bulb.

5. Use your hands to gently pat the soil and water it again.

6. Place it in a ventilated and shady place to adapt to the new environment, and you can maintain it normally after a few days.
