How to propagate five-star flower

How to propagate five-star flower

Seed propagation

Time selection: The most suitable time is spring, which is actually very easy to understand because the temperature in spring is very suitable.

Seed selection: We all know that the choice of seeds is closely related to the subsequent survival rate, so we must be cautious. It is best to choose seeds that are fresh, healthy, and as full as possible.

Specific sowing: First, we have to mix enough fertilizer into the substrate so that we can provide it with enough nutrients. We can use the broadcasting method to spread the flower seeds evenly on the substrate. After spreading, cover with a thin layer of flower soil.

Post-management: The first thing is moisture, it must be kept sufficiently moist. In addition, it is necessary to provide shade and never expose it to too strong sunlight. Ensure that the conditions are suitable and wait for about a week, then we can observe them sprouting.

Cutting propagation

Time selection: For this method, the time selection is more flexible and can be carried out in spring, summer and autumn.

Material selection: Choose branches that have not bloomed and are five to seven centimeters in length, that is, with about three or four nodes, so that the cutting effect will be best.

Specific steps: First, we have to remove the leaves from the lower part of the material, which can effectively reduce evaporation. Then, it is inserted into the matrix. Then you need to control various conditions, such as the temperature should be between 20℃ and 22℃, and the humidity should be controlled at about 80%-90%. After about four or five weeks, roots will grow.
