How often should I water the white palm?

Normal watering time

The so-called normal environment is an environment suitable for the growth of this plant. First of all, the temperature must be maintained between 18 and 28 degrees, and there is no strong sunlight, but the air circulation must be good. In this environment, you can water it once every 3 to 5 days, that is, when the upper layer of the potting soil is slightly dry, you should water it from time to time.

Watering times vary

If the temperature rises above 28 degrees, the soil should be kept moist at all times, and the watering time should be shortened, watering once every two days or so; if the temperature drops below 15 degrees, the upper layer of the potting soil should be watered when it is relatively dry, watering once every six to eight days is enough, and the lower the temperature, the longer the watering interval.

Precautions

Although this plant likes water, you should not water it too much, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow. In serious cases, the plant may be invaded by other pests and diseases.

When the temperature drops to 10 degrees, if you water too much at this time, frost damage is likely to occur. At this time, in addition to changing the environment for maintenance, you should also reduce watering.

Because everyone's growing environment is different, watering must also be flexible. It is best to observe the condition of the potting soil before watering. The most correct approach is to water according to the actual condition of the potting soil.
