How and when to plant

Planting can be done by division, cuttings, or sowing. Division can be carried out in spring and autumn, and under normal circumstances, it is carried out every 3 years; cuttings can be carried out in spring and summer, select tenderer branches, cut them, and insert them into the soil. New roots will grow in about 18 to 20 days; sowing can be carried out in April every year, and sprouts can be seen about 12 to 14 days after sowing.

Things to note after planting

Chrysanthemum is a plant that is very resistant to pruning. If you want to increase the number of flowers, you can prune it by pinching the top.

fertilizer:

Base fertilizer should be applied before planting, and fertilizer should be applied every two weeks during the growing season, so that it can grow stronger and more prosperous.

Watering:

Watering can be determined according to the conditions of the soil. If the surface of the soil is slightly dry during the growing period, water it immediately. On normal days, you can wait until the soil is completely dry before watering it thoroughly. When the temperature is high, increase the frequency of watering.

Soil with sufficient nutrients, good water permeability and air permeability will do.

Pests and diseases:

Control the distance between each plant, not too dense, and at the same time increase air circulation and avoid the air being too humid, so as to reduce its erosion by pests and diseases. However, if found, it is necessary to spray and kill with drugs in time to prevent the expansion and reproduction of pests and diseases.
