How to grow Tangyin

How to grow Tangyin

1. Lighting

Tangyin needs sufficient light and a relatively dry environment to grow, but it can also tolerate semi-shaded environments. It grows during cooler seasons, but stops growing when the temperature is extremely high in summer. Its growing season is from September of each year to June of the following year. If you want to achieve the effect of bursting the pot, the light during this period must be sufficient, so that it will grow very short and strong, and the leaves will grow relatively compactly, and the visual effect will become better.

2. Temperature

Tangyin is relatively cold-resistant, and its lowest tolerant temperature is 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. However, in order for it to reach the effect of blooming out of the pot, the temperature must be controlled artificially. It cannot be frozen, and the temperature cannot be too high, otherwise it will cause the plant to stop growing. When the temperature is low in winter, you need to pay attention to providing sufficient sunshine, and when the temperature is particularly high in summer, ventilation and cooling are required.

3. Water

Spring and summer are the periods of most vigorous growth for Tangyin. It needs to be watered frequently to keep the soil moist, but the water should not drip onto the leaves, otherwise it will affect the visual effect. There is more rain in the summer, so you should water it less, otherwise it will cause its roots to rot. In winter, you also need to water the plant with sufficient humidity to ensure that the soil in the pot is dry to a certain degree, especially when the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius, then you must completely cut off the water. Only if the Tangyin's demand for water is met, can it grow to the point of bursting out of the pot!

4. Soil

The pot of Tangyin should be changed every spring. The potting soil should be sandy soil with good air permeability and drainage. It is generally recommended to mix coal slag, peat and perlite in a ratio of 5:4:1, and spread a layer of large-grained clean river sand on the top. Such soil environment is particularly beneficial for the growth of Tangyin!

The above is what the editor has introduced to you about how to grow Tangyin to the point where the pot is full of flowers. I hope you can take a serious look at it. If you like Tang seal, you can grow one yourself!
