How to water Croton

How to water Croton

1. Spring watering

Croton is a common plant in southern gardens. It likes direct sunlight and does not like severe cold weather in winter. It should be placed on a balcony or windowsill where there is sunlight. The temperature is not high in spring, so there is no need for excessive watering. When watering, you only need to sprinkle water on the leaves of the Croton rotundus, keep the air indoors humid, open the doors and windows, and speed up air circulation.

2. Watering in summer

In mid-to-late summer, if the croton can obtain enough water and nutrients during this period, it will grow rapidly. The temperature is high in summer, so watering is needed every day. When watering, pay attention to watering the leaves of the Croton rotundifolia. You also need to use a watering can to water the soil. At the same time, you need to water the floor in the room to keep the ground moist. Keep the air indoors humid, open the doors and windows, and speed up the air circulation.

3. Watering in autumn

From September to October, if the croton can obtain enough water and nutrients during this period, it will grow rapidly. As the temperature gradually drops in autumn, you should reduce watering of Croton. It no longer needs to be watered every day. When watering, you only need to sprinkle water on the leaves of the Croton. When the soil of the Croton is not dry and cracked, there is no need to use a watering can to water the soil. At the same time, sprinkle water on the floor in the room to keep the ground moist. Keep the air indoors humid, open the doors and windows, and speed up the air circulation.

4. Watering in winter

The temperature is low in winter, and the Croton enters a dormant period and stops growing rapidly. At the same time, the air is dry in winter, so when watering, you only need to occasionally sprinkle water on the leaves of the Croton. When the soil of the Croton is not dry and cracked, there is no need to use a watering can to water the soil. At the same time, sprinkle water on the ground in the room to keep the ground moist, keep the air indoors humid, open the doors and windows, and speed up the air circulation.
