Verbena fertilization method

base fertilizer

Before talking about the method of fertilizing, let me tell you a basic step. That is, when cultivating petunias, try to choose some fertile soil, and it is best to apply a layer of basic decomposed fertilizer at the bottom of the flowerpot. General organic fertilizer will be enough, but remember to let the roots directly touch the fertilizer to avoid burns.

Secondly, during the growth period of petunia, some fertilizers should be added in time. Because petunia is a plant that prefers a fertile environment, so base fertilizer alone can no longer meet its growth needs. Adding thin fertilizer every fifteen days will be more conducive to the healthy growth of flowers, and will extend the flowering period and produce more flowers.

What fertilizer should be applied to Verbena

Verbena generally requires a compound fertilizer rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. This kind of fertilizer is loved by many flowers, and the nutrient ratio is relatively balanced and comprehensive. It will also make the soil loose, so that the verbena not only gets nutrients, but also improves the looseness of the soil. It is the most suitable additional fertilizer for verbena.

The above is all my own experience in fertilizing petunias. You may encounter more situations during the maintenance process, but try to manage carefully and deal with emergencies in a timely manner. It is not a problem to grow a pot of beautiful petunias.
