How to fertilize lilies? This way of fertilization will make them grow very well!

How to fertilize lilies:

For lilies, fertilizing is a relatively important maintenance knowledge, especially if you want the lilies to continue to bloom in the next year, you must do the fertilization step. Of course, if you don’t want to see its beautiful flowers, skip the fertilization step.

The principle of fertilizing lilies: apply small amounts of fertilizer frequently. If the amount of fertilizer is too large, the leaves of the flowers will wilt and wither, and the flower buds will die.

Basal fertilizer: During the growth period of lilies, if the basal fertilizer is applied enough, no additional fertilizer is needed during this period, otherwise it is easy to burn the roots of the lilies and seriously affect the healthy growth of the lilies.

Growing season: When the leaves of the lilies are unfolding, when flower buds are growing, and when flower buds are forming, you can apply appropriate amounts of fertilizer to promote their better growth and blooming.

Note:

Fertilization can be done together with watering. When watering, add an appropriate amount of fertilizer. In fact, a small amount is enough.

Friends must remember not to fertilize lilies when they are in bloom.

When lilies enter the dormant stage, there is no need to fertilize them. Just move the lilies to a well-ventilated, cool place and water them appropriately to help them get through the dormant period.
