Jasmine Growing Conditions

Jasmine prefers a warm, humid, well-ventilated semi-shady environment. The soil should preferably contain a large amount of humus. The plant is not resistant to frost, waterlogging, and alkaline soil. Its main production areas are China, Iran, Turkey, Egypt and other places.

The most suitable growth temperature for jasmine is around 20℃. The plant is not resistant to high or low temperatures. When the temperature is below 3℃ in winter, the plant may be frostbitten.

Jasmine is widely planted in subtropical areas. It likes to grow in open and flat areas. Currently, it is mostly cultivated as an indoor flower. The vigorous growth season is between early summer and late autumn.

Jasmine is a perennial plant that generally blooms in the year of planting. Its growth goes through several stages, including the budding stage, budding stage, flowering stage, and maturity stage. It will enter the peak flowering period after 3-6 years.

Jasmine planting process and methods

1. Prepare the soil: For potted jasmine flowers, you can use leaf mold, garden soil, river sand, and manure to prepare the soil. It is best to put some bone meal at the bottom of the pot as fertilizer.

2. Sowing: Jasmine is mostly planted in April in spring. The method is very simple. Just plant the jasmine directly into the prepared soil, then water it thoroughly, and place it in a ventilated and warm environment for maintenance. The survival rate is very high.
