Throw an egg in the flowerpot and you don’t need to fertilize for a year!

1 egg fertilizer

Method 1: Eggshells with some vinegar

1. Collect the egg shells that are usually used, clean the egg white with clean water, and then put them in a bright place to dry.

2. Crush the eggshells. The dried eggshells are easy to crush.

3. Put the crushed eggshells into a bowl, then pour white vinegar into the bowl until the depth covers the eggshells. When vinegar and eggshells react, calcium ions are released to supplement plant growth.

4. When using, do not use liquid to water the flowers directly, because the concentration is too high and it is easy to cause seedling burn. Be sure to dilute it before use.

5. Grind the eggshells directly into powder and put them in the flowerpot. It can also effectively reduce insect pests, improve the condition of the soil, make the soil more loose and breathable, increase drainage, and make the root system grow stronger.

Method 2: Watering the flowers with egg white

Break the eggs, remove the yolk and keep the egg white. Dilute the egg white of one egg with 1 liter of water. Be sure to dilute it, otherwise the fermented protein will attract insects. Then water the flowers and make sure they are watered thoroughly.

Before watering with egg white, the left and right trees are compared (the flower friend watered the one on the right with egg white):

After pouring the egg white, the one on the right is obviously bigger than the one on the left:

Note: This method is just a personal trick for flower lovers. Use it with caution for delicate flowers. Secondly, Huahua recommends that you use it when the temperature is low to avoid insufficient dilution that causes the potting soil to become smelly.

3. Bury the eggs at the bottom of the flower pot

Huahua introduced this method to you before, I wonder if flower lovers still remember it. Most of the flowers grown at home are in small pots. When choosing eggs, it is best to choose small ones such as quail eggs. If the flower pot is larger, you can choose large eggs such as chicken eggs and duck eggs.

Use a toothpick to knock a small hole in the quail egg, then bury it in the bottom of the flowerpot and plant flowers. The quail egg will slowly ferment in the eggshell to produce nutrients to meet the growth needs of the plant.

Bark Fertilizer

Method 1: Mix with garden soil

The rotten old bark can be crushed and used directly. When using, it can be mixed directly with garden soil, which can effectively increase nutrition and improve soil quality.

Method 2: Spread on the surface of the flower pot

Spreading a layer of bark on the surface of the flowerpot can effectively reduce water transpiration, prevent weeds from growing in the flowerpot, and improve the ornamental value.

Method 3: Place it at the bottom of the pot for drainage

Spreading the bark at the bottom of the flowerpot can effectively promote air circulation, facilitate drainage, and reduce the probability of root rot of flowers.

Method 4: Bark compost

Fresh bark cannot be used directly, you can first make a compost out of it. First chop the bark into small pieces.

Then put the bark into a bucket, add an appropriate amount of water to cover the bark, seal it with a lid, and place it in a well-lit place. It will ferment in one summer.

The fermented bark can be used as fertilizer, and the fermented fertilizer water can be diluted and used to water flowers, which is very effective.

3. Peel Fertilizer

Method 1: Peel Nutrient Solution

First, prepare a large plastic bucket.

Then prepare the fruit peels: there are no special requirements, oranges, apples, pears, bananas, anything that grows on trees will do, rotten fruits are also fine, but it is best to cut them into small pieces with a knife to facilitate fermentation.

Then put the prepared peels into a plastic bucket. The reason why we choose a plastic bucket here is because gas expansion will be generated during the fermentation process. If a glass bottle is used, it may cause a burst.

Then screw the lid on and put it in a cool and dry place. Unscrew the bottle cap every week to let it breathe. It will be successful after about three months of fermentation.

When using, dilute it with water to ensure your flowers and leaves are green and bright!

Method 2: Peel compost

1. First of all, cut the peel and pulp into pieces to speed up fermentation.

2. Add an appropriate amount of garden soil to the bottom of the flowerpot.

3. Add the peels to the soil surface, and then add soil, layer by layer, like a hamburger, sandwiching the peels in the middle of the soil.

4. Finally, cover the peel completely with soil and place it in a cool place to ferment. It usually takes half a year for everyone to get organic fertilizer that is rich in nutrients.

4. Fruit shell fertilizer

Method 1: Pelvic floor pad

Peanut shells, walnut shells, longan shells, etc., because of their hard material and slow fermentation, will not cause harm to the flowers. Putting them at the bottom of the flowerpot can effectively increase drainage, reduce water accumulation in the potting soil, and effectively reduce the probability of root rot.

Method 2: Improve the soil

Crushing various nut shells and mixing them with the soil can improve the air permeability of the soil and facilitate the breathing of the roots.
