Flowers that can cure diseases and keep you healthy, teach you a little trick, 1 pot can turn into 100 pots

1 Honeysuckle

Effect: Clearing away heat and detoxifying

There is a particularly beautiful honeysuckle at the entrance of Huahua Building. Every time Huahua walks past there, she can't help but want to pick some honeysuckle and take them home to make tea. In the hot summer, drinking a cup of honeysuckle tea to reduce internal heat is really wonderful!

Reproduction method:

Honeysuckle is mainly propagated by cuttings.

1. Choose strong honeysuckle branches for cuttings. Only keep 2 leaves on each branch and cut off the rest.

2. Insert the trimmed branches obliquely into the soil to a depth of 1/2 of the branches, press them slightly with your hands, then water them thoroughly and place them in a cool and ventilated place. They will take root in about half a month.

2 basil

Effect: Dispel cold, can prevent mild colds

Huahua remembered that perilla can be used in cooking. Whether it is stir-fried snails with perilla or mashed into a cold dish, it tastes very delicious. Especially when eating sashimi, it must be paired with perilla. The mildness of perilla can balance the coolness of sashimi and reduce harm to the body.

Reproduction method:

Perilla is mainly propagated by seeds.

1. Sow the seeds around March, spread them evenly in the flowerpot, then cover them with a thin layer of soil, water them thoroughly, and they will germinate in about 7-10 days. Using pure coconut bricks as soil for growing perilla can increase the germination rate.

2. Transplant when a pair of true leaves grow out, then apply more nitrogen fertilizer, about once every 7-10 days, to ensure that your perilla grows vigorously! It will be ready for harvest in about 2 months. When harvesting, be sure to choose a sunny day to make the basil smell more fragrant.

3. Mint

Efficacy: Clearing away heat and detoxifying, relieving cough

Huahua still remembers that when she was young, her family had several pots of mint. Whenever I had a headache, my grandmother would pick a mint leaf and put it on my temple. I still remember that cool feeling vividly.

Reproduction method:

Mint is usually propagated by cuttings.

1. Cut a section of mint from a healthy plant for cuttings. Each section should be about 5-10 cm long and keep at least 4-5 leaves on each section.

2. If you want the mint cuttings to take root quickly, use the hydroponic method. After about a week, you will be able to see white roots growing from the mint cuttings.

3. After the mint has taken root, insert the branches 2-3cm into the soil. Then gently press the soil with your hands and water it a little.

4. Houttuynia cordata

Efficacy: antibacterial, disinfection, stomachic and digestive

Huahua once heard from a friend that the reason why Houttuynia cordata is called this name is because when the leaves are rubbed, there is a fishy smell, so some people do not like this smell very much. But Huahua feels that whether it is eaten cold or used to make soup, the taste of Houttuynia cordata is particularly delicious!

Reproduction method:

1. Most Houttuynia cordata are propagated by division. Dig out the mother plant of Houttuynia cordata, divide it into several plants and then transplant it again, and you can get more Houttuynia cordata seedlings!

2. In addition, Houttuynia cordata can also be propagated by cuttings. Select a 10-15cm long cutting, dry the wound and then directly plant it in the soil.

5. Pendanthus

Effect: Anti-inflammatory and analgesic, relieves gastrointestinal bloating

Huahua remembers that when she was a child, her favorite thing to play with was the touch-and-go plant, because as long as you touched its leaves with your fingers, it would emit fragrance, which was simply magical! Later, Huahua also heard that this petals can be used to make tea and cook, it has so many benefits!

Reproduction method:

Generally, catnip can be propagated by cuttings.

1. Select healthy osmanthus branches and cut them off with scissors from the bottom near the mother plant.

2. Remove the lower leaves of the petal branches, then dry the wounds, plant them directly in the soil, and water them thoroughly.

3. After watering, place it in a cool place for a few days. It will take root in about a week. After about half a month, the cuttings will be able to grow new leaves. Then transfer the petals of the fragrant grass to a flowerpot and it will grow up quickly.
