In 1 minute, a plastic bottle turns into an automatic water-absorbing flower pot! No problem even without watering for a month!

In 1 minute, a plastic bottle turns into an automatic water-absorbing flower pot! No problem even without watering for a month!

Step 1

Prepare a plastic bottle, cotton thread (wool), knife, scissors, soil, flower seedlings and other materials.

Step 2

Use a knife to cut off the upper 1/3 of the plastic bottle.

Step 3

Use scissors to poke a small hole in the cap of the plastic bottle. The size of the hole should be large enough to pass the cotton thread through.

Step 4

Soak the cotton thread in water for 1 minute to fully wet it.

Step 5

Pass the soaked cotton thread through the plastic bottle cap and tie a knot in the plastic bottle. The knot should occupy 1/2 of the cotton thread.

Step 6

Put the cut upper part of the plastic bottle upside down into the lower part of the plastic bottle, leaving half of the rope in the lower plastic bottle.

Step 7

Fill the upper plastic bottle with nutrient soil and let the rope stretch out in the soil.

Step 8

Fill the bottom plastic bottle with about 2/3 of water so that the cotton thread can absorb the water in the plastic bottle and seep into the upper soil.

Step 9

The last step is to plant the flower seeds or flower branches you want to plant into the upper plastic bottle and place it in a well-ventilated place with diffused light to allow the seedlings to slowly grow. After the seedlings have successfully grown, they can be gradually exposed to the sun. If the plastic bottle at the bottom is out of water, just add water into it.
