After the wounds are completely dry, insert them into the prepared soil. The soil should be made of leaf mold mixed with vermiculite or sand.

Propagation of money tree leaf cuttings

In addition to stem cuttings, money tree can also be propagated by leaf cuttings.

When doing leaf cuttings, select strong and mature fleshy leaves of the plant, remove the leaves, and then dry them in the sun for a day or two. After the wounds are dry, lay them flat on sand or vermiculite.

When doing leaf cuttings, be sure to ensure that the cutting medium is tightly combined with the base of the leaves, and keep it moist. New roots and new shoots will grow at the base after about 20 days.
