Summer care of money tree

Maintenance in summer is very important because the temperature is high and the light is strong, and the growth of plants is not good.

In the summer, the money tree is usually cooled and blocked from the sun by adding shade nets, spraying water, and increasing ventilation. However, be careful not to cover it too much, as this will cause the leaves of the money tree to turn pale and yellow.

In the summer, the money tree is usually sprayed with water once every three days, but not too much water can accumulate. In the rainy season, you should also be careful not to accumulate water in the pot to avoid root rot.

Throughout the summer, in addition to paying attention to the problem of root rot, the most important thing to pay attention to is the problem of burns. If you suddenly move a potted plant that has been placed indoors for a long time outdoors, or expose it directly to the sun after rain, the tender leaves of the money tree may be burned, causing the leaves to turn green and white, or even die. Therefore, it is best to provide shade in summer.

Winter care of money tree

In winter, temperature is very important. Basically, if you want to ensure that the money tree survives the winter safely, the maintenance temperature in winter must be kept above 10℃. If it is below 5℃, it will easily freeze. In winter, you don't need to water as much, just once every half a month or so. Note: stop fertilizing.

In winter, money tree plants are easily affected by cold damage. Because of the low temperature and the sometimes damp soil in the pot, the leaves of the money tree will fall over, and in serious cases the tubers will rot.

Therefore, during the winter, the temperature should be kept high and the potting soil should be kept slightly dry. When the temperature is very low, you can also cover the plants with plastic bags to keep them warm.
