When taking cuttings, choose mature and full branches as materials. It is best to have two or three nodes for each cutting. If the material is relatively scarce, you can cut one node as a cutting, but this will slow down the rooting process.

Before cuttings, the cuttings must be treated to promote rooting by soaking the lower part of the cuttings in 3000 to 10,000 times indolebutyric acid solution for 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

The medium for cuttings can be made by mixing 20% ​​to 30% burnt soil with 70% to 80% loose and fertile garden soil or paddy field soil.

In winter and early spring, attention should be paid to protecting the seedbed from the cold. For seedlings grown in small arch sheds or greenhouses covered with plastic film, the plastic film should be covered at all times except on sunny days when heat is dissipated.
