Don’t throw away the roots of the enoki mushrooms you bought. Put them in water and they can grow several bundles!

I wonder what dishes everyone must order every time they eat hotpot? Is it seafood or mushrooms? Is it fatty beef or mutton? Is it a shabu-shabu hotpot or a clear soup pot? Enoki mushrooms are always on Huahua’s must-order menu! I don’t know why, I just like to eat it! The taste is really good!

However, Huahua recently learned a method. Usually, the enoki mushrooms we buy are eaten up immediately, but with this trick of Huahua, one bundle of enoki mushrooms can grow into several bundles! It is so practical that Huahua can’t wait to tell everyone about it!

We cut off the roots of the enoki mushrooms we bought, and you can eat the remaining enoki mushrooms however you want. When purchasing, it is best to buy some denser ones with some soil on the roots.

Prepare the container where you will grow the enoki mushrooms, then add two spoons of baking soda and some water into the container. It should be noted that there should not be too much water, and it is best not to exceed half of the root of the enoki mushroom. Put some wet wipes or cotton towels in the water, then put the roots of the enoki mushrooms in, seal it and then wait quietly for the enoki mushrooms to grow!

In fact, the principle is very simple. Enoki mushrooms can grow freely in an alkaline environment. Because they are fungi, we don’t need to take care of them on a daily basis! The only thing you need to pay attention to is the ambient temperature of the enoki mushrooms. The most suitable ambient temperature for the growth of enoki mushrooms is 5-10 degrees Celsius. You can plant enoki mushrooms according to the temperature.

In fact, besides being used for hot pot, there are many other ways to cook enoki mushrooms. Now Huahua will introduce to you two ways of cooking enoki mushrooms!

1. Refreshing Flammulina velutipes

This dish is actually very simple. It is a cold dish of enoki mushrooms. It only requires enoki mushrooms, chopped green onions and seasonings.

We blanch the enoki mushrooms in hot water, drain the water, and set aside. Chop the green onion, then put vegetable oil and sesame oil into the pot. When the oil temperature reaches about 70% hot, add the chopped green onion. This will make scallion oil.

Mix vinegar, light soy sauce, salt, unsweetened sugar, chili oil and other seasonings in a small bowl. The specific proportions can be adjusted according to your taste. Finally, mix the enoki mushrooms with scallion oil and seasoning sauce!

Enoki Mushroom Bacon Roll

This dish is also quite famous, and friends who often eat barbecue are no strangers to it. Place the enoki mushrooms in the bacon and secure with toothpicks. Put oil in the pan, heat the pan and then put the bacon in to fry.

Then we use oyster sauce, salt, sugar, light soy sauce and water to make the sauce. After the enoki mushrooms are fried, pour the sauce on them and you can eat them!

Aren’t these two dishes very simple and delicious? The simple operation is really suitable for office workers! This is a bit off topic. I wonder if the method of making enoki mushrooms grow again that Huahua taught you today has helped you? If you like to eat enoki mushrooms, don’t miss it. Just leave a root and you can grow several more bundles!

What are you waiting for? Give it a try now!
