In April and May, cut branches 10-15 cm long from healthy mother plants and plant them directly in pots with culture soil, 1-3 plants per pot. You can also cut the branches into cuttings about 5 cm long, wait for the cuts to dry (2-3 hours) and then plant them in a clean sand bed.

The cuttings will take root after 15-20 days. Cuttings can be taken in the greenhouse all year round. Under natural conditions, spring and autumn are the best seasons for cuttings.

35-40 days after transplanting, you can plant it in a pot with the old leaves.

How to propagate Axeleaf Peperomia: Beheading

Beheading: The axe-leaf peperomia that is beheaded and propagated by cuttings grows fast. Please note that after beheading, peel off some leaves on the stem so that the part inserted into the potting soil can adapt well to the soil and take root quickly.

How to propagate Axe-leaf Peperomia: division

Division: Division is the best method for propagating variegated varieties.

When the plant fills the pot, remove the plant from the pot and divide it into several pots.
